I thought I might share a few of my favorite really really simply projects from the last couple of years today so that even us overly busy people can get in on a little of the Fall fun!.
Really, this book is like an encyclopedia of naturey crafts, homemade beauty products, and recipes. It’s a little mind-boggling.. Oh!

And there’s a section all about creating nature-inspired Christmas decorations! How amazing would that be?.And fairy gardens!.

Oh, and did I mention that Amy photographed the whole thing herself? She’s got some serious talent with a camera, that girl.. Getting to check this book out was kind of extra-special to me, not just because it’s written by a friend of mine….

..but also because she worked with the same publisher that I’m working with on my book, Page Street Publishing.
So getting to actually hold this book in my hands and feel the quality of it and see how beautiful it is and how easy it is to work from makes me just a little more excited about my own book coming out next year, which feels so far away!.Overall a pretty successful little afternoon experiment, I’d say!Do you remember when we all started hanging plates on our walls?
Not like 100 years ago, but I mean just a few years ago when it became a whole new trend. It opened up a whole new world of possibility for wall decor and added so much fun color and dimension to our living spaces.
I still love plates on walls, maybe a little too much, but I think baskets on walls needs to be the next big thing. And here’s why:.
